Trojans News · Boys Cross Country Culminates Season With Team Banquet

The Trojan boys cross country team concluded their fall season Monday night by celebrating with their annual awards banquet held on campus.

The Trojans finished Runner-Up in the Big Birth Conference and also at the Region Meet securing a trip to the State Finals back on November 4th, where the young Trojan harriers finished 23rd place in Division I.

Most Outstanding Trojan Runner was awarded to All-Stater Morgan McGrew.

Isaac Coulter was given the Chris Vranich Iron Man Award.

Elliot Smith received the Drake Tester Memorial Award and Scholarship.

Most Outstanding awards went to Isaiah Galvadon (9th Grade), Cole Truszkowski (10th Grade), Jacob Grassa (11th Grade) and Morgan McGrew (12th grade).

It was a nice evening celebrating the conclusion of a very successful season, the first under New Head Coach Bryan Burns.

Many of the boys will now move on to winter sports or indoor track in preparation for Spring track season. The future is bright for a team which has 30 out of 34 runners returning next fall led by a strong group of sophomores.
