The Trojan Girls Tennis Team, Boys Track and Girls Track Athletes competed at the MHSAA State Tournaments over the weekend.
Girls Tennis Team placed 14th in Division 2 State Finals in Holland. Emily Kluzak (3 Singles) defeated Vy Ngugyen from Mason in the first round 7-5 & 6-3, Ava Reimers (4 Singles) defeated Camryn Baney from Mattawan 6-4 & 6-4 in the first round, and Mari Mast-Regan O’Connor (1 Doubles) defeated Sage Roberti-Janell Hubert from Dexter 6-1 & 6-1 in the quarter-finals.

Boys Track had two athletes compete at the State Finals in East Kentwood. Cole Truszkowski (1600m) placed 14th with a time of 4:21.91 PR. Trey Searles (Long Jump) placed 8th with a distance of 21-11.00.
Girls Track had eight athletes compete at the State Finals in East Kentwood. Leah Doezema (Shot Put) placed 3rd with a distance of 41-00.75 PR and Mackenzie Bohrer (Shot Put) placed 20th with a distance of 35-07.75. Leah (Discus) placed 17th with a distance of 111-03. Veda Joynt (Pole Vault) placed 15th with a height of 9-09.00.
Julia Flynn (1600m) placed 8th with a time of 5:01.80 and Avery McLean (1600m) placed 16th with a time of 5:13.37. Addison Swanson (400m) placed 12th with a time of 58.52 PR. The Relay Team of Julia Flynn, Sidney Carrigan, Allison Hankins and Avery McLean (4 x 800) placed 4th with a time of 9:16.92.
