TC United JV lacrosse squad took on Cadillac JV at Thrilby Field Wednesday (5/2) evening that ended in a draw with a final score of 6-6. TCU took an early lead and kept the lead through the halfway mark, with a score of 4-2 at halftime. Cadillac came out after halftime and went on a 2-0 run in the third to tie the game up. After grabbing momentum Cadillac went on to take the lead in the fourth but TCU was able grit it out and tie the score with 12 seconds left in the game.
TCU scorers were Ethan Richey 3 goals and 2 assists, Parker Cencer 3 goals, Trey Zelinski 2 assists, and Christian Faught with 1 assist. TCU defense played well as a unit and was led by the always rock-solid goalkeeper Owen Walters with 9 saves. The “ugly helmet” award, player of the match award, went to Ethan Richey for most groundballs collected.
TC United JV lacrosse has upcoming games at Midland on Friday May 3rd at 5:30 PM and home at Thirlby against Keneowa Hills at 1:00 PM to kick-off both Varsity matches.
